Catanduanes wants to fight cholera

LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines – Department of Health Assistant Secretary Dr. Eric Tayag and representatives of the World Health Organization (WHO) are attending a post-cholera outbreak assessment forum with Catanduanes Gov. Joseph Cua and local officials.

The assessment is expected to put in place a permanent solution to prevent the occurrence of another outbreak of cholera which killed 16 people in Catanduanes last year.
