No fly, fish, sail ban lifted after Seoul rocket launch

MANILA, Philippines - The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council on Thursday has lifted the flying, fisihing and sailing ban on the eastern seaboard of the country following South Korea's launch of a satellite into space.

NDRRMC Executive Director Benito Ramos said the rocket was launched Wednesday afternoon and some parts of the rocket fell on the Pacific Ocean.

The agency has earlier said rocket debris may fall over the eastern areas of the Philippines and that the danger period is between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday.
