Cold front still brings heavy rains over parts of VisMin
MANILA, Philippines - Heavy rains brought by the tail-end of a cold front continued to prevail over parts of the Visayas and Mindanao yesterday, forcing the cancellation of some domestic flights.
Budget carrier Cebu Pacific said the affected flights were in Cebu and Siargao.
Weather forecasters said the tail-end of a cold front will continue to bring cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms over eastern Visayas, northern Mindanao, and the Caraga and Davao regions.
Cagayan Valley and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will continue to experience cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy with brief light rains.
Slightly warmer weather was experienced in Metro Manila yesterday, with the minimum or lowest temperature recorded at 22 degrees Celsius at 5 a.m.
