KORONADAL CITY, Philippines – A nephew of a police officer was arrested here last Sunday for alleged violation of the election gun ban.
William Lebanan, 25, a nephew of Superintendent Michael Lebanan, Koronadal City police chief, was arrested after allegedly poking his handgun at a bar owner in this city.
A police report said the suspect and his friends went to the bar along Alunan Avenue and ordered beer. After a few hours, the suspect suddenly pulled out his .38 caliber revolver.
Responding policemen said Lebanan’s handgun has no license.
