MANILA, Philippines - A 40-year-old aide of a surveyor from Isabela has claimed the jackpot of the 6/42 lotto draw last Thursday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said yesterday.
Jose Ferdinand Rojas II, PCSO general manager, said the winner, who is a bachelor, hit the winning combination 34-41-12-24-33-19 with a jackpot of P13,641,613.40.
The lucky bettor plans to buy a house and lot and finance the education of his nephews and nieces.
He told Rojas that his brother, who died recently, asked him to take care and send his children to school.
