Danny B. Dangcalan - The Philippine Star

BACOLOD CITY, Philippines – Six teenagers, four of them minors, were rescued by the police from hazing by fraternity men in a house in Barangay Alijis here on Thursday.

Chief Inspector Levy Pange, Bacolod Station 7 commander, said they got information from a barangay official that young men were being subjected to hazing in the house, and when his men reached the place, they saw at least 30 members of the “Akrho” fraternity there with the six teenagers being paddled.

Police withheld the names of the six teenagers aged 16 to 18. Only three frat leaders were arrested as the others were able to escape.
