Misamis board member arrested in shabu buy-bust

MANILA, Philippines - A provincial board member of Misamis Oriental is now facing charges after he was arrested for peddling shabu in Cagayan de Oro City on Tuesday night.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency director general Undersecretary Arturo Cacdac Jr. said Geodeguil Ursal, 32, was ranked third in the agency’s list of drug personalities in northern Mindanao and was a “high-value target.”

Ursal yielded 13 plastic sachets of shabu weighing at least five grams during the buy-bust. His two cohorts, Glenn Antigua, 29, and Ernesto Fernandez, 46, were also arrested.
