DILG offers P.1-M bounty for rebel leader’s arrest
TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – The Department of the Interior and Local Government, upon the recommendation of the Philippine National Police, has approved a P100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a rebel leader tagged in the ambush-slay of eight soldiers in Echague, Isabela last year.
Isabela police director Senior Superintendent Franklin Mabanag said Romeo Cudal, a native of Ilagan City is the fifth most wanted person in Isabela and 19th in Cagayan Valley.
Cudal, who heads the New People’s Army’s armed propaganda platoon, was charged with multiple murder and multiple frustrated murder cases.
