3 car thieves fall in Laguna

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – Police arrested three suspected car thieves and seized parts of stolen motorcycles during a raid the other day in San Pablo City, Laguna.

Senior Superintendent Fausto Manzanilla, Laguna police director, said charges have been filed against Michael Gapangada, 23, tagged as the car theft group’s leader, and cohorts Janssen Latoza and his brother Raymart.

The gang’s latest victim was a certain Randy Recto who lost his tricycle while parked near a day care center in San Pablo City last Dec. 5. Parts of the tricycle were among those found in the group’s hideout in Barangay Soledad.
