Search on for 2 Korean divers

Evelyn Macairan - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) yesterday sent one of its vessels as it intensified its search for two Korean divers who have been missing since Tuesday after going into a cave.

PCG spokesman Commander Armand Balilo identified the missing Korean divers as 45-year-old Kim Jun Ho and 34-year-old Bae Jiun.

“The two technical divers might have swam 150 feet below sea level. While it may not be too deep, we do not know how long is the cave so we might have to go deep into the cave and we do not know how many caverns in order to find them,” said Commander Marco Antonio Gines, chief of the PCG Special Operations Group.
