ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines  – A career executive service officer (CESO) from Ilocos Norte attending a convention here went home empty-handed after two motorcycle-riding men grabbed her bag as she stepped out of her hotel last Friday morning, police said.

Police said the victim, Reynalda Bangunan, 62, who was here for the three-day CESO national convention, fell victim to the snatchers in front of Hotel Salwa along Gov. Camins Road.

According to Bangunan, her bag contained a brown wallet with P14,000 of her personal money, a BlackBerry worth P30,000, her plane ticket, documents, and several identification cards.

Investigators were looking for any footage from closed-circuit television cameras to help identify the snatchers.
