TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – A 37-year-old man who tried to prevent a brewing fight between his drinking mate and two siblings who confronted their group, ended up stabbing the two, killing one of them and critically wounding the other in Bauang, La Union the other day.
Killed was Sherwin Reyes, 27, while his brother, Dante, 21, is fighting for his life at the Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center in San Fernando City.
Unable to pacify the Reyeses who had confronted one of his drinking partners, suspect Peter Viduya stabbed them and then fled, investigation showed.
