Cops clueless on woman’s killing in Bulacan cemetery
HAGONOY, Bulacan, Philippines – Police are still clueless on the killing of a 36-year-old single mother here last Sunday morning.
Superintendent Rolando Santos, Hagonoy police chief, said though they are “slowly making progress in our investigation because we have to validate information we gathered.”
The killing of Marilyn Perez shocked residents of this coastal town when Fr. Jess Cruz reported it in a Mass last Sunday.
Perez was with a niece visiting her mother’s tomb in a cemetery behind the Sto. Rosario parish church when a ski mask-wearing man came from behind and shot her in the head, killing her on the spot.
