Father, son drown in Catanduanes

LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines – A man and his two-year-old son drowned when the motorboat they were riding was smashed by big waves off Barangay Toytoy in Caramoran, Catanduanes last Friday, reports reaching Camp General Simeon Ola here said yesterday.

Superintendent Renato Bataller, Bicol police spokesman, identified the victims as Jose Ferrer, 45, and Jeric, two, both residents of Barangay Dariao.

Bataller said the bodies of the victims were found floating several meters away from where the damaged motorized banca was recovered.
