MALOLOS CITY, Philippines – Jukebox queen Imelda Papin filed her certificate of candidacy for the lone congressional district of San Jose Del Monte City on Friday.
Papin is running under the Lakas-NUCD and will be facing Rep. Arthur Robes of the National Unity Party-Liberal Party coalition.
She ran for governor of Camarines Sur in 1995, but lost.
In 1998, she was elected Camarines Sur vice governor.
