Pangasinan finalist in PCCI search for business-friendly LGUs

- Eva Visperas - The Philippine Star

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, Philippines – This province has been chosen as finalist in the Search for the 2012 Most Business-Friendly LGU Awards for Province, Level-1 Category.

This developed as Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) president Miguel Varela has invited Gov. Amado Espino Jr. to attend the final judging to be held at the PCCI Boardroom at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City today.

The search is conducted by the PCCI in line with the holding of its 38th Philippine Business Conference next month. Varela, who also chairs the Philippine Business Conference, said the project is an initiative of the PCCI to complement the efforts of the government to streamline business procedures in compliance with Republic Act 9485 or the Anti-Red Tape Act.
