Couple, baby dead in mishap

MANILA, Philippines - A couple and their two-month-old daughter were killed after an L-300 van rammed the motorcycle they were riding in Pilar, Capiz Thursday afternoon, police said. 

Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr., Western Visayas police director, identified the victims as Rudy Villa, 27, his wife Ronilyn, 27, and their infant daughter Robelyn.

Cruz said Villa’s mother Nely Baclas, 44, survived the accident in Sitio Libas, Barangay San Esteban, Pilar town.

He said the van driver, Rafil Dador, 27, was also injured but has been released from the hospital. Dador was held at the Pilar police station for investigation.
