Explosion rocks Basilan capital

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines – An improvised bomb exploded near a restaurant in Isabela City, Basilan Monday night, sending residents into panic, police said.
No one was reported hurt or killed though in the blast in front of JJ Twins Food Center along the corner of NS Valderosa and Roxas Avenues at around 7:45 p.m. in downtown Isabela City, as the restaurant and other business establishments there were already close, said Superintendent Allan Nazarro, city police chief.
