AFP, PNP boost tie-up on cases
MANILA, Philippines - The military and the police have signed a joint letter directive seeking to enhance their cooperation in filing cases against threat groups and individuals engaged in criminal activities.
The joint letter directive covers the planning, case build-up, arrest, investigation, filing of cases, getting statements and witnesses, and monitoring the progress of cases.
Armed Forces spokesman Col. Arnulfo Burgos Jr. said the directive allows the police to assist the military in enhancing its investigative and law enforcement capability.
