4.1 quake hits parts of N. Luzon

MANILA, Philippines - A magnitude 4.1 earthquake rocked parts of northern Luzon yesterday, but did not cause any damage or injury, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs said the tremor occurred at around 8:09 a.m. and was centered four kilometers southwest of Lagangilang, Abra.
It was felt at Intensity 4 in Bontoc, Mt. Province; Lagawe, Ifugao; Balbalan, Kalinga; and Lagangilang, Bucloc and San Juan, all in Abra; and Intensity 3 in Baguio City and Candon City, Ilocos Sur.
