Tanay gets Pagcor school building
MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor) turned over the other day a P3.32-million school building to a public elementary school in Tanay, Rizal.
The one-story building, consisting of five classrooms, was constructed at the Sampaloc Elementary School under the state gaming firm’s “Matuwid na Daan sa Silid Aralan” project. The new building will house 225 Grade 4 pupils.
The project has a total budget of P1 billion for the construction of 1,000 classrooms in public elementary and secondary schools nationwide.
