3 kids wounded in Maguindanao blast
COTABATO CITY ,Philippines – Three children were injured in a bomb explosion that rocked an isolated farming village in Sultan Mastura town in Maguindanao yesterday.
Six-year-old Salman Kasim, a toddler named Saikan Mamukan and Apra Kasim, 14, suffered shrapnel wounds.
Inspector Tongan Namla, chief of the Sultan Mastura police, said Pacalim Mamadra, a farmer who survived an attack by gunmen two hours earlier, could be the target of the bomb attack. He said Mamadra could be involved in a clan war with another group.
“We are still investigating on this incident. We are doing our best now to determine the exact identities of the culprits and the kind of explosive used in the bombing,” Namla said.
