LAGUNA, Philippines – Two doctors were killed when the car they were riding rammed into a parked Isuzu truck along the national highway in Sta. Rosa City, Laguna before dawn last Saturday, police said yesterday.
The fatalities were identified as physician Maria Elizabeth Mendoza, 35, and surgeon Yemen Kadatuhan, 38. They died while being treated at the MIDI Sinai Hospital in Sta. Rosa City.
Senior Superintendent Gilbert Cruz, Laguna police director, said the two doctors were on their way to Manila when their Toyota Hi-ace smashed into the parked truck.
