Intensity 4 quake jolts Masbate City

MANILA, Philippines - A magnitude 3.4 earthquake rocked Masbate yesterday morning but did not cause any damage or injury, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

Phivolcs director Renato Solidum said the tremor was felt at Intensity 4 (moderately strong) in Masbate City. The quake occurred at around 2:51 a.m. and was centered five kilometers northwest of Masbate City.
