Diarrhea downs 112 in Romblon

MANILA, Philippines - A total of 112 cases of diarrhea have been recorded in San Fernando town in Romblon, disaster management officials said yesterday.

In a report, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said the illness has affected residents in six barangays, namely Taclobo, Poblacion, Campaliongo, Panangkalan, Pili, and Azagra.

Seventy-nine of the patients were children aged one to five, and 19 were infants below one year old.
