- Ghio Ong, Helen Flores -

MANILA, Philippines - A magnitude 3.2 earthquake rocked parts of Negros Oriental yesterday but did not cause any damage or injury, state seismologists said.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the tremor occurred at around 12:22 p.m. and was centered some 10 kilometers southwest of Canlaon City, Negros Oriental.

The quake was felt at Intensity 2 in Guihulngan, Negros Oriental and Intensity 1 in Canlaon City. It was still an aftershock of the magnitude 6.9 quake that jolted Negros Oriental last Feb. 6, leaving over 50 people dead.
