Revilla, Ona lead Bacoor hospital groundbreaking

MANILA, Philippines - Bacoor City Mayor Strike Revilla and Health Secretary Enrique Ona led the groundbreaking of Phase 2 of the Bacoor District Hospital last Feb. 24.

Revilla said the hospital is expected to provide a more accessible, affordable and quality health service to residents of Bacoor.

Former senator Ramon Revilla Sr., Cavite Vice Gov. Recto Cantimbuhan, Rep. Lani Mercado-Revilla, board member Ramon Jolo Revilla III, Center for Health and Development provincial director George Repique and assistant provincial director Corazon Flores also attended the ceremony.

In his message, Ona lauded the local government’s efforts in bringing quality health service to the people. He promised to increase the bed capacity of the hospital from 25 to 100.

Revilla for his part, vowed to continue and enhance his administration’s health programs.
