Forester's slay suspect yields

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines – The suspected triggerman in the killing of a female forestry specialist of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources in Cagayan surrendered to authorities yesterday.

Police said Adorable Caliga Jr., the alleged gunman of Melania Dirain, forestry management specialist of the community environment and natural resources office in Sanchez Mira town, gave himself up as the manhunt for him had been intensified.
