2 Masbate barangay execs, pal shot dead

LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines – Suspected members of a private army shot dead a barangay chairman and treasurer and their companion on Tuesday night in Uson, Masbate.

Senior Superintendent Iriberto Olitoquit, Masbate police director, identified the fatalities as Eddie Crisostomo, 45, and Noel Rosal, chairman and treasurer, respectively, of Barangay San Isidro, and their companion, a certain Jolec Rivera.
