3 warring Moro clans agree to truce

- Jose Rodel Clapano -

MANILA, Philippines - The clans of three Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) commanders involved in a “rido” or family feud in Barangay Dungos Tulunan, North Cotabato have agreed to a truce as concerned government agencies, including the Coordinating Committee on Cessation of Hostilities (CCCH) and the Ad Hoc Joint Action Group (AHJAG), are resolving their land dispute.

The CCCH and AHJAG were instrumental in the decision of the families of MILF commanders Jun Panangulon, Jabidi Abdul and Sukarno Husain to observe a cessation of hostilities.
