MANILA, Philippines - The Rizal police has a new chief in the person of Senior Superintendent Rolando Anduyan, who will take over the post starting tomorrow, replacing Senior Superintendent Jose Manuel Prieto.
Rizal Gov. Casimiro Ynares III chose Anduyan from the list of candidates forwarded to him by the Philippine National Police.
Anduyan reported yesterday to Chief Superintendent Gil Meneses, Calabarzon police director, who immediately issued an order for his assumption as Rizal police officer-in-charge.
Anduyan, a member of Philippine Military Academy Class 1990, vowed to go all-out against criminality in Rizal, especially against motorcycle-riding suspects.
