PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, Philippines – A Chinese was arrested here Sunday for buying and selling endangered animal parts.

The suspect, identified as Yifan Huang, 50, was nabbed at his residence in Barangay San Jose by a composite team of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the Philippine National Police.

Authorities also confiscated more than eight kilos of pangolin scales, pangolin meat, sacks of abalone and several balinsasayaw nests from Huang.
