3 kids drown in Isabela river

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya ,Philippines  – Authorities are searching for three missing school children who fell into a river in Isabela and are feared to have drowned.

The victims – Andrea Maureen Corpuz, 6, brothers Rickson Rasa, 7 and Eric John, 6, – fell into the river in Cauayan City’s Dabburab village at around 3 p.m.

Their slippers, bags and other belonging were recovered near where they were reportedly last seen.

Reports said the victims’ parents told police that their children did not come home even though their teachers dismissed their classes early.
