Vehicle falls into ravine in Quezon; 9 hurt

Atimonan, Quezon ,Philippines  – The driver and eight passengers of an Isuzu jitney were hurt when it fell into a deep ravine after it hit another vehicle along Barangay Malinao Ilaya in Atimonan, Quezon Sunday morning.

Police reports showed that a Toyota Liteace van (WPT-919) bumped the Isuzu jitney (DWY-914) while traversing the uphill and curved portion of the road.

The driver of the Isuzu jitney lost control of the wheel and fell into the ravine about 15 to 20 feet deep.

The victims were brought to the Doña Martha District Hospital.
