BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines – More residents have been downed by diarrhea, believed to have been caused by contaminated drinking water, since last month in a village in Cagayan.
From 116 diarrhea patients monitored last month in Gonzaga town’s Barangay Santa Maria, 57 more cases have been added.
Dr. Lowie Sunico, the town’s health officer, said though the outbreak has been contained as preventive measures have been undertaken.
