PCSO holds dialogues with charity groups

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has begun a series of dialogues with charity groups in the Visayas and Mindanao to reach out to the poor and needy, particularly in far-flung areas.

Jose Ferdinand Rojas II, PCSO general manager, held the dialogue in Cebu City and Cagayan de Oro City to educate the charity groups on how to avail themselves of and liquidate charity funds of the agency.

Rojas said the PCSO board headed by chairperson Margarita Juico has approved the continued partnerships with non-government organizations also involved in medical assistance to far-flung areas.
