17-year-old gang-raped in front of boyfriend

ILAGAN, Isabela, Philippines  – Four armed men believed to be among the riding in tandem on a motorcycle criminals striking in Isabela and Cagayan, gang-raped a 17-year-old second year college student in the presence of her boyfriend they held at gunpoint in Barangay Silauan Norte, Echague town.

The boyfriend helplessly watched his girlfriend agonize as the suspects took turns raping her in a secluded grassy area along the national highway.

The young lovers, who were also on board a motorcycle, were reportedly on their way to the boarding house of the 17-year-old victim at around 9:30 p.m., when they stopped near a deserted public cemetery in Barangay Cabugao because the motorcycle conked out.

At this juncture, the armed men on a motorcycle separated the lovers. The suspects also took the lovers’ cellular phones and money.
