ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines – An official of a private dock handling firm in Basilan was shot dead in his residential compound in Isabela City Wednesday night, police said.
The victim, Nikarter Gonzalo, 55, who ran a small business in the local market and served as cashier and checker of the Basilan Dock Handlers Corp., was killed while Isabela City was experiencing a blackout.
