CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – A Calabarzon policeman was gunned down while his wife was wounded in an attack by two motorcycle-riding men in Buenavista, Quezon last Friday afternoon, authorities said yesterday.
Reports reaching Chief Inspector Andres Simbajon Jr., Calabarzon police spokesman, said PO3 Mario Adricula, 48, assigned to the Regional Headquarters Security Group, died from multiple gunshot wounds.
His wife, Mariafe, 47, a local government employee in Quezon, was brought to the Magsaysay District Hospital in Lopez town.
Police said the Adriculas had just come from a court hearing when they were waylaid.
