- Charlie Lagasca -

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines  – Fifteen villagers allegedly engaged in so-called “carabao logging” are now facing charges following their apprehension last week while cutting trees in the hinterland border of this province and Quirino.

Police said the suspects, all from Kasibu town here, are now in the custody of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology after they were formally charged the other day for violation of Presidential Decree 705 or the Revised Forestry Code.
