CALAPAN CITY, Philippines – A Batangas-bound passenger ship ran aground as it tried to fight strong winds and huge waves when it sailed off Occidental Mindoro last Wednesday night.
Reports from the Philippine Coast Guard said the roll-on, roll-off vessel M/V Baleno 3, owned by Baleno Shipping Lines, ran aground after it maneuvered back to the port of Abra de Ilog in Occidental Mindoro.
