SURIGAO CITY, Philippines – Two bombs were found near the police headquarters and the open pit area of a mining firm in Tubod, Surigao del Norte yesterday, sowing panic among residents, police said.
Authorities were particularly alarmed as the bombs found near the police station and the area of Greenstone Resources Corp., both in the vicinity of the town hall, were ready for detonation.
