Boracay-bound shabu seized
MANILA, Philippines - Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) intercepted a Boracay-bound shipment of 70 grams of shabu hidden in speakers at the airport in Caticlan, Aklan last Tuesday.
PDEA Director General Undersecretary Jose Gutierrez Jr. identified the consignees of the shabu shipment as Jona-Gin Liba, 20, of Poro Point, San Fernando City, La Union; and Alexander Nebres, 38, of Pasay City.
Gutierrez said the arrested suspects were considered big-time drug pushers in Boracay whose clients included local and foreign tourists.
