P.3-M reward up in Laguna 'freezer killing'

- Ed Amoroso -

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – San Pablo City Mayor Vicente Amante is offering a P300,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the key suspect in the killing of two women whose bodies were found stuffed in a freezer in their house last June 22, police said yesterday.

Senior Superintendent Gilbert Cruz, Laguna provincial director, said the reward would boost their efforts to locate suspect Bayani Corpuz, who is being hunted by police tracker teams.

Cruz said Corpuz was positively identified by an eyewitness as the one driving the missing Toyota Lucida van of victims Leticia Lupian and Vilma Bandilao.

Police have filed double murder charges against Corpuz before the San Pablo City prosecutor’s office.
