3 Laguna residents found dead

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna ,Philippines  – Three persons, including a couple, were found dead in their rented house in San Pedro City, Laguna Thursday night, police said.

Superintendent Kirby John Kraft, San Pedro police chief, said Ricardo Mostrales, 56; his wife Esperanza, 60; and her brother Aideth Alarcon, 54, were found lifeless with bullet wounds at around 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

Neighbors told police they heard the couple having a verbal tussle, after which several gunshots were heard, prompting them to call the police.

Kraft said investigators were still establishing the exact circumstances behind the incident.

He said empty shells found at the crime scene were brought to the crime laboratory for ballistic test.
