5 soldiers wounded in Basilan explosions

MANILA, Philippines - Five Scout Rangers were wounded last Monday in two separate explosions in Sumisip, Basilan believed to have been staged by the Abu Sayyaf.
Citing a report from the Special Operations Task Force-Basilan, Army spokesman Col. Antonio Parlade Jr. said the first explosion occurred in Baiwas village. Another bomb exploded seven hours later in Bohe Piyat village.
