4 killed in Negros highway collision

MANILA, Philippines - Four people were killed after the multi-cab they were riding collided head-on with a 10-wheeler truck along the national highway in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental Saturday morning, police said.

Chief Superintendent Leonardo Espina, Highway Patrol Group director, identified the fatalities as Romeo Arros, driver of the multi-cab, and his three passengers, Carolina Arros, 60; Kahrel Arros, 22; and Merlinda Castro, 58.

Espina said the truck driver, Melven Guimaras, surrendered after the accident.
