3 bolt Tanay jail

MANILA, Philippines –  Three detainees escaped from the Tanay, Rizal municipal jail yesterday by sawing through the iron grill on the roof.

Calabarzon police director Chief Superintendent Samuel Pagdilao Jr., ordered a manhunt for Roger Orillo, 21; Ricky Buenaventura, 30; and Gilbert Rivera, 22.

Pagdilao said Orillo is facing rape charges, Buenaventura theft while Rivera was charged with robbery.

Early this month, five detainees bolted from the Teresa, Rizal district jail but one of them was killed while three others were recaptured. The jail warden and two jail guards on duty were sacked upon orders of Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo.
