CIDG 4A named best regional criminal unit

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna , Philippines  – Due to their exemplary accomplishments and outstanding performance in terms of crime solution efficiency, dismantling several criminal groups including the arrest of most wanted persons, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group 4A earned a rare distinction for the third consecutive year as the Best Regional Criminal Unit for the year 2010 during the CIDG’s 58th Foundation Anniversary in Camp Crame.

Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa and Chief Superintendent Leon Nilo de la Cruz, CIDG director, awarded a plaque of recognition to Senior Superintendent Edwin Jose Nemenzo, CIDG 4A director and regional deputy Superintendent Archie Macala during the flag-raising ceremony.

The Calabarzon-CIDG 4A was also adjudged as best for the year 2008 and 2009 and bagged two categories for Best RCIDU in Oplan Salikop and Oplan Paglalansag, during the stint of Senior Superintenden Christopher Laxa and his deputy regional director Superintendent Romano Cardino and Senior Inspector Christopher Guste, investigation and operations chief.
