2 quakes hit Luzon, Visayas
MANILA, Philippines - Two mild earthquakes rocked parts of Luzon and the Visayas yesterday but there were no reports of any damage or injuries, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs said the first quake measuring magnitude 3.2 occurred at 6:19 a.m. and its epicenter was traced at 51 kilometers northeast of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte. It was felt at Intensity 2 in Laoag City and Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte.
A second quake with magnitude 3.5 struck at 2:51 p.m. and was located at 53 kms southwest of Romblon, Romblon. It was felt at Intensity 3 in Odiongan, Romblon and Intensity 2 in Caticlan, Aklan.
